Blue Butterfly Logo
When creating Lily Clinic’s identity, I wanted the logo to represent both the mission of the clinic and the journey of the patients we serve. The combination of the white lily and the blue butterfly was chosen with purpose:
The white lily is a symbol of renewal, healing, and hope. Its pure color reflects the clinic’s commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment. Just as a lily thrives when nurtured, patients with lymphedema and vascular conditions can flourish when given the right guidance, therapy, and encouragement.
The blue butterfly is recognized internationally as a symbol for lymphedema awareness. Butterflies represent transformation, resilience, and freedom — qualities that mirror the patient journey as swelling is managed, mobility restored, and quality of life improved.
By placing the blue butterfly gently upon the white lily, the logo conveys a story of healing, transformation, and hope. The lily offers a place of rest, while the butterfly represents the patient’s progress and resilience. Together, they reflect Lily Clinic’s mission: to restore strength, promote wellness, and empower patients to live fully despite the challenges of lymphedema and vascular conditions.
The Artist
The Lily Clinic is honored to feature a beautiful watercolor created by Elizabeth Kline. Elizabeth is a talented wound nurse, a mother of four, and a compassionate individual from Lititz, Pennsylvania. Beyond her medical expertise, she has many passions, but art is her true sanctuary — a place where she expresses creativity and love with remarkable authenticity.
With only a simple description of a design idea, Elizabeth captured the very heart of Lily Clinic in a single painting: a vision of hope, compassion, and healing. Thank you Beth!
