Who we are

In 2017, Matthew Cash, Occupational Therapist, earned his Lymphedema Certification and became board-certified by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). In 2022, he further expanded his expertise by becoming a Certified Wound Therapist. Over the past eight years, Matt has devoted his Occupational Therapy career to treating individuals suffering from chronic swelling caused by lymphedema.

Lymphedema is a frequently misdiagnosed, under-recognized, and inadequately treated condition, leaving many patients with few or no options for proper care. When a local Roanoke hospital abruptly closed its lymphedema program, Matt couldn’t walk away from the patients who depended on him. Instead, he moved forward with determination to support this vulnerable population.

In 2025, Lily Clinic LLC for Lymphedema, Vascular Health and Wellness was founded — created out of a commitment to provide compassionate, specialized care to those living with lymphedema and complex wounds.

As a private practice, Lily Clinic LLC offers more than just support for individuals with lymphedema, venous insufficiency, wounds, and other swelling-related conditions. It also provides expert services in integrative wellness and recovery.

Additional offerings include Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to support:

• General wellness and immune health

• Post-surgical recovery

• Scar tissue mobilization and healing

By combining clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach, The Lily Clinic delivers personalized care that promotes both functional recovery and overall well-being.
